SPMT Infrastructure Private Limited is located over at 86 Girindra Sekhar Bose Road. It’s a pretty well-known street if you live around here. We’ve been set up in this spot for some time. The building is older but it works for what we need. Dealing with infrastructure means we spend a lot of time away from the desk. We are usually out on-site seeing how things are progressing. It’s messy work sometimes, with all the dust and the heavy machinery, but someone has to do it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us trying to keep things running smoothly. Some weeks are slower than others, depending on the permits and the materials coming in. We buy our supplies locally whenever we can. It’s easier that way and we know the people selling them. The office gets a bit cramped when the whole team is in for a meeting, but we make it work with some extra chairs. We focus on the basics of building and fixing stuff. It’s not glamorous. You learn a lot about how things actually get built when you’re doing this every day. Most of our guys have been in construction for years. We just try to be fair and get the job finished without too many delays. That's really all there is to it at the end of the day. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
