Our place is located at 117 B. K. Moitra Road. We have been operating Soubhagwa Shree Construction from this exact spot for a good while now. Kolkata is a city that is always being repaired or built up, so there is never really a shortage of things for us to do. We are just a group of local builders who know the trade. We don't have a flashy storefront or a big sign. It’s mostly just a place for us to store our gear and meet up for tea in the morning. Construction is hard, physical work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. It involves a lot of heavy lifting, climbing up and down, and getting quite dirty. We work on small and medium-sized projects mostly. The traffic on B.K. Moitra Road can be a bit much during the rush hour, but we have gotten used to the noise. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to handle social media. Most of our work comes from people who saw what we did for their cousin or their neighbor. We try to stay as practical as possible. If a wall needs fixing, we just go and fix it. If a new room needs to be added, we build it. We use simple English and talk to people directly. No corporate nonsense happens in this office. We’ve had days where everything goes right and days where the rain ruins everything. We just keep showing up.
