You can find us at the Shantiniketan Building on Camac Street. We are in Room 408 on the fourth floor. Camac Street is always packed with cars and people, so it’s a very lively place to work. The building is one of those older commercial ones where you see a lot of different businesses. Sonarpur Nirman Llp is focused on construction and development. The office is fairly compact. We have a few desks squeezed in and a lot of rolled-up blueprints in the corners. The elevator in the building is often busy, so sometimes we just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. Being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below. We drink a lot of chai from the guy downstairs. Our work involves a lot of coordination between different sites and the office. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of grit and dust involved in what we do. We don't bother with fancy office furniture or expensive art. We just need a place to sit and get the paperwork done. Most of the time, the office is half-empty because we are out checking on the progress of our projects. It’s a practical workspace for people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the computer is slow, but the work eventually gets finished and we close up for the day.
