Our address is 1, Garstin Place, right in the heart of Kolkata, 700001. It's an old part of the city with a lot of history in the buildings. Snowline Buildcon Llp operates from here. It’s a busy area, very central, which means we are close to everything but also deal with the noise and the crowds. We work on building projects, mostly focusing on the structural side of things. The office isn't anything fancy. It's an older building itself, with high ceilings and those big windows you don't see much anymore. We spend our time looking over plans and talking to contractors. There’s always a kettle on for tea because the days can get long. We aren't a corporate giant with thousands of employees. We are just a small group trying to make a living by doing solid work. We don't have a PR team or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just talk to people face-to-face. If there is a delay on a site, we go down there and see why. That’s just how we’ve always done it. The 700001 area is a bit cramped for parking, but it's where we are. We've grown used to the pace of this part of Kolkata. It's where we feel at home. We just keep our heads down and focus on the bricks and mortar. It’s not glamorous, but it is honest work. We try to finish our paperwork before the evening traffic makes it impossible to leave.
