Silverlake Tradelinks Llp

Our office for Silverlake Tradelinks Llp is located at 9/12 Lal Bazar Street, in the Mercantile Building. We are on the second floor, over in Block E. It is a big, old building with a lot of character, even if it needs a bit of a scrub sometimes. Our room is just a basic office. We have some sturdy desks and plenty of filing space for all our documents. The windows don't open very easily, so we rely on the fans to keep the air moving. Working in the Lal Bazar area means you are always in the middle of the action. There is never a dull moment with all the people coming and going. We have a very straightforward way of working. We show up in the morning, sort through the mail, and start on the tasks for the day. There is no fancy technology or modern art here. It is just a place for work. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for making tea, which is pretty much the most important piece of equipment we own. We talk to the other business owners in Block E and sometimes help each other out with small things. It is a nice community of workers in a very traditional part of Kolkata. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just a local business doing our daily work in a reliable way.
