Shyam Sarovar Agro Foods Llp

We are based in Kolkata, specifically over at Raj Roshni Apartment on Shahpur Main Road. It’s an apartment building, so our office is in Flat 2B. Dealing with agro foods from a city flat might seem a bit different, but it’s where we manage the logistics and the paperwork for everything we do. We don't have fields right outside the window, obviously, since we are in the middle of the city. We spend our days on the phone and dealing with suppliers. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to bridge the gap between the farms and the market here in West Bengal. The traffic on Shahpur Main Road can be a nightmare some days, but we manage to get things done. We aren't a big fancy food company with a skyscraper. We just needed a quiet place to run the business and 2B works for us. We handle various food products, making sure they get where they need to go. It’s mostly just coordinating deliveries and talking to vendors. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors know us. There’s no big sign or anything, just our small team working away. We started this because we saw how hard it was for food to get moved around efficiently. It’s a lot of boring office work, but it keeps the business moving. We don't have a grand story, just work hard and pay the bills. That is basically it for us.
