Clive Row is a crowded place to be, especially at number 9 where we are set up. If you’ve ever walked through this part of the city, you know how tight the lanes are and how many people are constantly moving about. Shyam Engineering Corporation has been part of this chaos for a long time. Our space is filled with old desks, stacks of technical drawings, and the sound of phones that don't seem to stop ringing. We handle engineering supplies and work that keeps us on our toes from morning until late evening. It’s not a shiny corporate building; the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that. Most of the guys here have been working together for a decade or more, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We grab lunch from the local vendors nearby, usually standing up because there’s so much work on the tables. It’s a bit messy, and sometimes we lose a pen or a stapler under a pile of invoices, but we always find what we need eventually. Dealing with the heat in the summer is the hardest part, but that’s just life in this city. We don’t make a big deal out of things, we just get the engineering jobs done and move on to the next one. It’s honest work in a very old, very busy neighborhood.
