Shree Ram Exports Co.

Our small office is tucked away on the second floor of number 4 Raja Woodmunt Street. This is an old part of town, and while the building looks a bit tired, it works perfectly for what we do. We handle all kinds of export tasks throughout the day here at Shree Ram Exports Co. We are not a massive company with hundreds of people, just a small group working together. There is usually a big stack of folders and papers on every desk in the room. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with vendors or checking to see if the cargo is ready for the ship. The stairs up to the second floor are quite steep, so we tend to stay put once we get here in the morning. It gets really loud outside with the street vendors and all the traffic passing by. We have been in this location long enough that we know all the tea sellers on the corner by name. Our work involves a lot of double-checking lists and numbers. It is easy to make a mistake if you are not paying close attention to the details. We use basic computers and nothing too fancy in terms of technology. Sometimes we have to stay a bit late if a shipment is running behind schedule. It is not always an easy job, but we like the rhythm of the trading business. Most of our clients have stayed with us for a long time.
