We are based out of 12C Chakraberia Road North. It’s a busy part of Kolkata. There are always people moving around outside. Our office isn't very big, but it’s where we do all our planning. We started Shoora Citydevelopers Llp because we wanted to work on building projects right here in our own city. Most of us grew up around these streets. We spend a lot of time looking at sites and talking to contractors. Sometimes the weather makes things slow down, especially when it rains hard, but we keep at it. We deal with a lot of paperwork and permissions which takes up more time than you’d think. It's just a few of us in the office most days. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. Usually, there’s a lot of tea being drunk and maps spread out on the table. We know the 700020 area well. If you come by, you’ll see we are just regular people trying to get some houses or shops built properly. Dealing with construction in a city like Kolkata is a bit of a headache sometimes with the narrow roads and the traffic. But it is what we do. We try to be fair with the laborers and the people who buy from us. It's not always easy to get materials on time, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our bit on Chakraberia Road.
