SHIVYOG PROJECTS LLP

We’re over at Karnani Estate on AJC Bose Road. You have to head up to the 5th floor and look for Room 192. It’s a bit of a labyrinth in this building sometimes, but we’ve been here long enough to know all the shortcuts. Shivyog Projects is what we do. We’re in the construction line, so our office is usually full of dust from the site visits and stacks of paper that need signing. Park Circus is a lively part of Kolkata to be in, though finding a parking spot can be a real headache. Our room isn't huge, but it fits us and all our gear. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with guys from the different sites. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of back-and-forth and plenty of days where things don't go exactly to plan. We just take it as it comes. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone to greet you with a smile. If you come in, you’ll probably just see us hunched over a desk or drinking tea while looking at a project timeline. We prefer it this way. It’s honest and we don’t have to put on a show for anyone. The work is what matters, and keeping our projects moving forward is what keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. It’s just us, doing our thing in a crowded building in the middle of the city.
