Shivramka Fabrics Private Limited

Our place is located in New Alipore, specifically Block C. Shivramka Fabrics has been operating out of 41/F for some time now. Kolkata is a big city, but our little corner here feels okay. It’s mostly about the fabrics for us. We spend a lot of time looking at rolls of cloth and making sure everything looks like it should. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of workers, just a regular private limited company trying to keep things moving. The office can get a bit crowded when new stock arrives, but we manage. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a chair, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. People in the neighborhood know where we are. We don't have a big neon sign out front. It’s just a normal building. Working with fabrics means there is always a bit of lint or thread on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. We deal with different suppliers and try to stay on top of the schedule. West Bengal has a long history with cloth, so we feel like we are part of that, even in a small way. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just show up, check the inventory, and send things out to whoever needs them. It's a lot of manual work and checking details, but we've been doing it for years now and we're used to the daily routine of this business.
