SHAWAMBHU CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED

We run Shawambhu Construction Private Limited from our spot at Block-GA-161, Category-Ews-III, Phase-1 921 on Rajdanga Main Road. It’s right in the Kasba area of Kolkata, so it’s usually pretty loud with traffic outside. Our space is in the South Parganas section, and it’s mostly filled with folders, samples of tiles, and a lot of dust from the sites. We don’t go in for anything fancy. The work we do is all about getting structures off the ground and making sure they’re solid. Being in this part of West Bengal, we have to deal with all sorts of ground conditions and local logistics. Some days are just spent chasing after permits or making sure the concrete mix is right. It’s a lot of physical work and mental juggling. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors; we’re just a group of people who know how to put a building together. Sometimes we make mistakes on the paperwork and have to redo it, or a delivery gets stuck in the Kolkata traffic, but we figure it out. We’ve been at this address for a while now and people in the neighborhood know where to find us if they have questions. There’s no glossy brochure here, just some honest talk about what can be done and how long it’ll actually take. We keep our heads down and try to finish what we started. It’s messy work but it’s what we do.
