Shaw Machinery Co

We are located at 63B on Manicktala Main Road, right in the Basak Bagan area. Our shop is usually full of metal parts, tools, and the smell of machine oil. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, but we know where everything is, even if it doesn't look like it to someone walking in from the street. We spend our days dealing with various types of machinery and the parts that make them run. Often, we are elbow-deep in grease trying to figure out why a particular piece isn't working the way it should. It’s heavy work, and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the day. The main road is always loud with trucks and buses, which matches the noise we make inside with our tools. We aren't selling anything shiny or new-fashioned; we just handle the mechanical stuff that people in the area need for their own work. People come in with broken parts or lists of things they need to get a machine back online, and we do our best to find what they're looking for. The shelves are packed with boxes that have been there for years, but that's just how it goes with machinery. It’s a straightforward trade, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now. We just focus on the hardware and the mechanical problems that come through the door.
