Our place is in Marshall House, specifically Room 807 on the 8th floor. The address is 33/1 N S Road in Kolkata. Being up on the 8th floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are just looking at other buildings and the busy streets below. N S Road is always a mess of traffic, so getting here in the morning is usually a challenge. We work on housing and living spaces. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or looking at site photos to make sure things are moving. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork. We don't have a fancy lobby; it's just an office where we get things done. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The lift in this building can be slow, so we get plenty of time to think about our projects while waiting. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just want the houses we work on to be solid and finished on time. Sometimes there are hiccups with the labor or the materials, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It’s a straightforward way of working. We keep our heads down, manage the sites, and try to stay on top of the details that matter in construction. It is a long process from start to finish.
