Sm Export

Our place is at 42/18 S. B. N. G. Lane. It is one of those lanes that feels a bit tucked away from the main road. If you aren't looking specifically for Sm Export, you might miss us. We mostly spend our time looking at boxes and checking shipping labels. It is a lot of manual work. The lane is narrow, so when a delivery comes, everything pretty much stops. We have to coordinate with the drivers so they do not get stuck. It is just how it goes in this part of town. The building is older, but it holds everything we need for the day. Most of the staff has been here for years. We eat lunch together in the back room when we get a break. It is usually quiet until the afternoon when things pick up. We handle various goods for export. There is no big sign or flashing lights. Just a simple door. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish the logs. The weather affects the mood quite a bit. Rain makes the lane muddy, which is a real pain. We try to keep the place organized, but with so much stuff coming in, it gets messy. It is a real business, run by real people who just want to get the job done right. We do not have fancy furniture. Just sturdy tables and a couple of fans that hum all day long. That is about it for us.
