Sarda Polywood Industries Ltd. has its corporate offices on the 4th floor of the North Block at 113 Park Street. Park Street is a very famous and busy part of the city, so there is never a dull moment around here. Our office is where we handle all the administrative work for our polywood and timber business. We do not do any of the manufacturing here; it is strictly for the business side of things. We spend most of our time on the phone with suppliers or looking over shipping schedules and invoices. The office itself is functional and a bit old-fashioned. We have been in this building for many years, and the space is filled with desks, filing cabinets, and the occasional wood sample. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, which is a bit of a hassle. We are a small, dedicated team and we do not really worry about having a corporate image. We just want to make sure the orders are processed and that the logistics are handled correctly. It is a lot of routine work, but it keeps the company running. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we have a very casual and friendly atmosphere in the office. We do not have big meetings or complex strategies. We just get the work done.
