Our place of business is at 12C Chakraberia Road (North) in the 700020 area of Kolkata. It is a bit different from the busier main roads, having a slightly more residential feel while still being close to everything. We handle real estate projects from this office, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone and looking at computer screens. The room is usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional car horn from the street. We have a few chairs for visitors and a large table where we spread out our plans. It’s a very functional space. We don’t go in for much decoration; we just need a place where we can concentrate and get our work finished. Dealing with real estate in Kolkata involves a lot of patience and a lot of paperwork. We have to make sure every detail is right before we move forward. Most of our day is spent checking on progress and making sure we are staying on track with what we started. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just us here, doing our best to manage the projects we have. We like the neighborhood and the people who live around here. It feels like a good spot to run a business. We usually stay late most evenings to catch up on things we missed during the day. It is just the way we have always worked.
