Our office for Sanghai Export Pvt. Ltd. is located at 17 Armenian Street. It is an old part of the city and you can really feel that when you walk down the sidewalk. The building we are in has been around for a long time. It’s got high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of light, which is nice. We spend most of our hours here just going through the usual business tasks. There are about five of us usually in the main room. Armenian Street is always full of people moving around, so there is always something to look at if you take a break. We don't really bother with fancy decorations or expensive rugs. Most of our furniture is just stuff we picked up over the years because it was practical. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but it keeps us moving. We don't have a big sign outside, so people sometimes walk right past us. We are just a regular company doing our thing day in and day out. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just sit there waiting, talking about what we are having for dinner. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is honest work. We’ve grown attached to this little corner of the street. It feels like home after you’ve been here long enough. No one here wears a suit unless they have to.
