Our office is on B. B. Ganguly Street, specifically at number 46. It’s one of those older parts of the city that always feels alive. We work on infrastructure and development stuff from here. The building has some character to it, though the stairs can be a bit much if you’re in a hurry. We spend a lot of time looking at site plans and talking to contractors. It’s not always glamorous work. There is usually dust on our shoes from visiting construction sites. Inside the office, it’s mostly just us trying to stay organized. Files are stacked up and there is always a pot of tea going. We’ve been around this street for quite some time now. You get to know the tea stalls and the rhythm of the traffic outside. Dealing with developers and projects means a lot of waiting for approvals and making sure things are moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just want to get the projects finished properly. Some days are longer than others, especially when a deadline is coming up. We talk to a lot of different people, from laborers to engineers. It’s a mix of different worlds. We don’t use much fancy software, just what works for us to keep things straight. It’s a busy life here on Ganguly Street.
