We're over at Poddar Court, right by Gate No 4. Our office is Sahika Infraprop Llp and we sit on the 6th floor. The address is 18 Rabindra Sarani in Kolkata. The zip code is 700001, so we're right in the middle of everything. This part of the city is always crowded and noisy, but it’s got a lot of life. Poddar Court is an old building, and you can feel the history in the hallways. Getting up to the 6th floor can take a minute if the lift is busy. Our workspace is nothing out of the ordinary. We have some desks, some old fans, and plenty of files stacked up. We deal with property and infrastructure stuff, which means a lot of talking to people and checking documents. It's not a glamorous job. Most days are spent sorting through details or making calls. The tea guy comes around every morning, which is the highlight of the day sometimes. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy setup. It’s just a place where we do our work. Outside on Rabindra Sarani, the traffic is always a mess, but being in the heart of Kolkata means we are close to everything we need. It’s a bit chaotic, but we like it that way. We've been here long enough that the sounds of the street just blend into the background. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing until it's time to head home.
