SACHISH PROPERTIES LLP handles the real estate and land side of things from our office at 5, Chittaranjan Avenue. Like the other LLPs here, we are on the first floor. The location is very convenient for meeting people who are coming from different parts of the city. Our office is a bit of a mess with land records and property maps everywhere. It is hard to keep everything organized when there is so much paperwork involved. We spend a lot of time dealing with local authorities and checking legal documents. It is a slow process most of the time. You have to be patient in this business. We don't have any fancy software to manage things; we mostly use old-fashioned ledgers and notebooks. The fans in our office are quite old and they make a clicking sound that you stop noticing after an hour. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp during the long afternoons. Sometimes clients come in just to chat about the market. We don't try to sell them anything; we just tell them what we know. It is a straightforward way of working. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a few people who have been doing this for a long time in this specific neighborhood. The building has a peculiar smell of old paper and dust.
