We are situated at 5 Chittaranjan Avenue, right on the 1st floor. It’s a very central and busy location in Kolkata. SACHISH GRIHA NIRMAN LLP is the name of our small firm. The building is quite old and has those high ceilings that help keep the air moving. Being on the first floor makes it easy for people to drop by without having to wait for the lift. The street outside is always full of traffic and buses honking, but inside the office it feels a bit more secluded. We have several large wooden desks where we do all our planning and paperwork. There are stacks of blueprints in the corners and old files on the shelves that have been there for years. We’ve been here for a long time, so the place has a bit of a worn-in and comfortable feel. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, the door is just unlocked and you can walk right in and find one of us. We spend our days coordinating various construction projects and checking on the progress of our sites. There is almost always a pot of tea being made in the small kitchen area in the back. It’s a very relaxed and informal atmosphere. We don't use much technology besides the basics. It’s a traditional way of working that has always served us well. It’s just a plain office.
