S. A. Hardware Stores

S. A. Hardware Stores is located at 34 Netaji Subhas Road. This area is pretty much the heart of the hardware and tools trade, so there is constant movement around us. We have a lot of different items packed into our space. It’s not laid out like a modern supermarket; you often have to ask us where something is because we’ve tucked it away on a high shelf or in a back corner. We’ve been here for years, and the shop has a lot of character, mostly from the sheer amount of metal and wood parts we keep in stock. We don’t have a website or a social media manager. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to come in. The counters are worn down from years of sliding boxes across them. We speak plainly to our customers and don't try to upsell anything they don't actually need for their project. Netaji Subhas Road is loud, dusty, and always busy, and we’ve become a part of that landscape. We don't have air conditioning or fancy displays. It’s just us, the shelves, and the stock. We focus on getting people the right bolts, tools, or supplies so they can get back to their own work. It is a very direct way of doing business, and it’s how we’ve always operated. People know where we are if they need something.
