We are tucked away in the KBR Complex over at 4 Ho-chi-minh Sarani. It’s a busy part of the city with a lot of big offices all around us. Our unit is 1A, and it’s where we handle all the administrative work for Asbesco. We deal with industrial hardware and components, mostly stuff for the power sector that you don't really see in shops. The office is usually filled with the sound of phones ringing and the hum of the air conditioner trying to keep up with the heat. We have stacks of technical papers and catalogs on almost every surface. It’s not a very decorative place to work. We focus more on getting the part numbers right and making sure the shipments go out to the sites on time. We talk to engineers and warehouse managers all day. Sometimes they come by to sit at the big wooden table in the back and go over their requirements. The street outside is always packed with cars and people going to the consulates nearby. We usually just grab a quick lunch from the stalls on the sidewalk. It’s a professional neighborhood, but our office feels a bit more comfortable and worn-in than the glass buildings nearby. We know our products very well and we don't feel the need to use a lot of corporate jargon. We just provide the components that are needed and keep a close eye on the paperwork for every single order.
