We are over here on Main Road on Russel Street, which is always busy with people and cars going by throughout the whole day. Our office is Dalmia Realtors Pvt. Ltd., and most of the time we are just sitting here at the desks looking through property papers and talking to folks who walk in off the street. It gets a bit loud outside during the afternoons, especially when the traffic picks up near the intersection, but we are used to it by now. The old fan hums in the corner and we just get on with the work of finding places for people or sorting out the deeds. We have been in this spot for a while, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever got around to doing it. Sometimes the tea man comes by around four and we take a break for five minutes before getting back to the phones and the lists. It is not a fancy place, just a regular office where we try to keep things organized despite the mess of folders. If you come by, you might see some files stacked up on the side tables because there is always more to do than there is shelf space for. We know the neighborhood well since we spend all our days here. It is just a small group of us working through the daily list of things that need fixing or signing. That is pretty much how things go for us.
