Kolkata-700027 is a part of town we know pretty well. It’s a bit tucked away, but we like it that way. The office is small and usually smells a bit like damp concrete and old paper. We have a few desks squeezed in there. Most of our day is spent coordinating where the crew needs to be next. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat while we are loading up the van. It's a tight-knit street. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the company name on the door so people know they have the right place. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running all the time. Working in infra means we are always dealing with some kind of delay or another, whether it's the weather or a late delivery. We just take it as it comes. It's a family-style environment here. We drink a lot of tea while we argue over schedules. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any means. It’s just a place where we get the job done. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and don't plan on moving for the time being. It is a good place to work.
