Roongta Group

Down here in Kolkata, things move at their own pace. We are located in the 700034 area of West Bengal, which is a part of the city we know pretty well. It’s always a bit loud outside with the trams and the cars, but inside the Roongta Group office, we keep things simple. We don't have those big glass walls or shiny lobbies you see in movies. It’s just a regular workspace where we spend our hours. Most of us have been coming here for years, so we know the local tea stall and the best way to avoid the monsoon puddles on the street. Working in Kolkata means you get used to the humidity and the way the city feels alive all the time. Our day usually starts with checking the files and seeing what arrived in the mail. We spend a lot of time talking to each other across the desks because that is just easier than sending a bunch of emails. It’s a practical way to run things. We aren't here to impress anyone with big words or fancy presentations. We just handle what comes our way and try to make sure everything is in order before we head home for the evening. The walls are a bit plain and the furniture has seen better days, but it’s home for us during the work week. That’s just the reality of life here in this part of West Bengal.
