Our office is situated at 1, British Indian Street, in units 401 and 402. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of character and very narrow streets. Rohit Commerical Pvt. Ltd. has been in this building for a long time now. The entrance is a bit tucked away, and you have to take an older lift to get up to the fourth floor. Once you’re inside, it’s a pretty standard office setup. We have desks pushed together and stacks of papers that seem to grow every week. It’s not a quiet place, as you can hear the sounds of the street even from four floors up. We deal with a lot of different commercial tasks, so there is always someone coming or going. We don’t really have a designer interior; it’s mostly just functional furniture and calendars pinned to the walls. We’ve known the people in the neighboring offices for years, so it’s a friendly enough atmosphere. Usually, we’re too busy with our own work to spend much time chatting in the hallways. We don’t use any big slogans or try to act like we’re more important than we are. We just come in, do the work that’s on the schedule, and go home. It’s a steady routine that has worked for us for a long time. The local tea stalls nearby are where we usually end up after a long day of work.
