Rng Papers

Radha Bazar Street is a narrow place, and we are right there at number 57 on the ground floor. Being at Rng Papers means dealing with a lot of heavy lifting. Paper is heavier than it looks when it’s in big stacks. The shop is pretty small, and we’ve filled every inch of it with different types of stock. The walls are lined with shelves that go all the way up. I’ve lived and worked around here for years, so I know most of the people on this block. It’s a tight community. We don't have fancy signage or bright lights. Just a simple board outside with our name on it. The floor is concrete and gets a bit cold in the winter months. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to pass the time. Most of our day is spent counting sheets or helping someone find a specific weight of paper they need for a project. It’s honest work. We don't use any high-tech systems; we still write things down in a ledger most of the time. It’s just easier for us that way. When it rains, we have to move everything back from the entrance so it doesn't get damp. It’s a bit of a struggle, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop, just a reliable one that stays open when we say we will. We just do our best here.
