Rivaansh Developers Private Limited has its office at 90 Phears Lane. We are up on the second floor in Room 205. Phears Lane is a narrow, busy place and it can be quite a struggle just to find a spot to park a bike sometimes. We’ve been working as developers in this part of Kolkata for a while now. Development work is mostly about balance. You have to balance what the client wants with what is actually possible to build. We spend many hours sitting in the office going over budget sheets and talking to suppliers. It is not always the most exciting work, but it is necessary. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery getting stuck in traffic or a permit taking longer than we thought it would. We just try to be honest with everyone we work with. There is no point in making promises you cannot keep. Our office isn’t much to look at, just some desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. But it is where we get our work done and where we meet the people we build for. We are just a regular group of people trying to make a living by building things that will last for a while. We know the city well and we use that knowledge to keep our projects moving forward without too much fuss.
