Our office is located at 50 3 Beni Nandan Street here in Kolkata. If you know West Bengal, you know how these streets can get, especially when the weather is humid and the rain starts coming down. It’s a pretty standard setup we have. We do capital work, mostly handling the financial side of things for people who come through our doors. The building has been here for quite some time now. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a group of people working a job. Some of us have been here for years and know the regulars by name. It’s nice having a spot that feels settled. The street outside is usually full of life, which is typical for this part of town. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and people talking on the phones. We keep things simple because that's what works. No one here is wearing expensive suits or anything. We just wear what's comfortable and get the paperwork finished. Sometimes the power cuts out for a minute, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren’t used to the local lanes, but once you find us, it’s easy enough. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything adds up at the end of every month. It's a living, and it keeps us busy enough.
