2 Coms is based out of Barrackpore, specifically at 48 Dhaniapara 6th Lane. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, but it’s a nice enough area. The office is just a small space we’ve rented for a few years now. Kolkata can be very loud, but back here in the lane, it’s mostly just the sounds of the neighborhood. We handle a lot of different things, mostly helping people find work or sorting out local business needs. We aren't a massive corporation with a glass tower. It’s just a ground-floor room with a few desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one so people know they are at the right place. We keep things very simple here. There’s no dress code or fancy meetings. We just sit down and get through the tasks for the day. Sometimes the tea man comes by, and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We like being in Barrackpore because it’s where we grew up. It’s easier to talk to people when you know the streets they live on. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just do the work we said we would do. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sorting through files or talking on the phone. It is a humble place but we get by.
