Razban Sea Foods Ltd. is located right over at 23B on Canal West Road. If you know the area, you know it’s always moving. We deal with seafood, so our mornings start much earlier than most people would like. By the time the sun is fully up, we’ve already been busy for hours. The canal is right there, and while it isn't always the prettiest sight, it’s part of our daily backdrop. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s a functional space with some old filing cabinets and a few desks that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and making sure the catch is handled right. It’s a messy business sometimes, and you definitely won't find anyone here wearing a suit and tie unless they have to. We’ve got a handful of people who have been with us for a long time. They know the rhythm of the work. Sometimes the smell of the sea follows us home, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just try to keep things simple. We get the seafood, we process what needs doing, and we send it out. There’s no secret formula or fancy strategy. It’s just about showing up at 23B every day and making sure the orders are filled correctly before the day ends. It can be exhausting, but we like the pace of things here on Canal West Road.
