Bsmr Commercial Pvt. Ltd. is based at Rawdon11a Rawdon Street, right near the Pola Mandir in Kolkata. It’s a well-known area, so people usually don't have too much trouble finding us. The office itself is pretty basic. We don’t have any big signs or neon lights. It’s a place where we sit down and handle our daily business. Being near the temple means there is always something going on outside, which keeps things interesting. The atmosphere in the office is relaxed. We aren't the type to insist on everyone wearing ties. We just want the work to get finished properly. There are a few of us here most days, drinking tea and going through files. The desks are a bit old, and the chairs squeak a little, but they do the job. We’ve been on Rawdon Street for a bit and we like the rhythm of the neighborhood. It feels like a real part of the city, not some isolated office park. Sometimes the street gets blocked during festivals, which can make getting to work a challenge, but that is just part of living and working in Kolkata. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. This is just who we are and where we work.
