Rajesh Khanna

The office is located at E12 1 in the Indralok Housing Estate II. Being here in Kolkata, especially in this residential area, gives the place a different feel than a typical business district. It’s Rajesh Khanna’s base of operations. The estate is usually quite lively with kids playing or neighbors heading to the market. I’ve lived and worked around here long enough to know most of the faces. My setup is simple. I have a room where I keep my equipment and records. It’s not a place for big meetings or fancy presentations. Most people who come by are from the local area or were told about me by someone I’ve known for years. The commute is short, which is the best part. I usually start my morning with a cup of tea and then dive into whatever needs doing. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard for people to get here, so things quiet down then. I don’t use any complicated systems; I just keep track of things the old-fashioned way. It’s a quiet life for the most part, focusing on the work at hand. I don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It’s just me making sure things are handled correctly. Living and working in the same estate means you’re always around, which people seem to like. It feels more personal that way.
