Sm Exports

Sm Exports is located at 259/2 Rajarhat Main Road. We are quite close to the Indian Bank, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. Rajarhat has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings, but our little corner remains pretty much the same as it was years ago. It’s a busy road with a lot of traffic, so there’s a constant hum of engines outside our window. Inside, we just focus on the export side of things. We have a few rooms where we keep our records and a small space where we check the quality of the items before they go out. It’s not a high-tech operation at all. We still use a lot of paper and we like to keep physical copies of everything in our filing cabinets. The staff is small, just a handful of us who live nearby. We don't really have a set lunch hour; we just eat when there’s a quiet moment in the day. Sometimes we have to stay late when a big shipment is due, but mostly we stick to regular hours. The office has a lot of natural light, which is nice, but it can get quite dusty because of all the road construction nearby. We don’t mind it much. We are just here to do a job and make sure our clients get what they asked for. It’s a straightforward business and we try to keep it that way without any extra fuss.
