Finding us at 13 Olichandy 2nd Lane can be a bit tricky if you aren't from around Kol 49. Radiotoday has been in this little spot for some time now. The lane is narrow and you have to watch where you park your bike. It’s a very local feel here. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting around our workstations. We have a lot of cables and some old speakers that have seen better days. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there is always something else to do. Kolkata has this way of being busy even in the small lanes. We can hear the kids playing outside and the lady who sells vegetables calling out. Our day starts with opening up the shutters and letting some air in. It gets pretty cramped when everyone shows up at once. We handle our business without much fuss. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves usually. It’s not a fancy media house setup; it’s more like a workshop where we produce what we need to. We spend our lunch breaks chatting about nothing in particular. It’s just a regular group of people working in a regular part of the city. We like it here because it feels real and not like some manufactured office space.
