Radio Mirchi Enil

Radio Mirchi Enil is based out of A 23 in the Tolly Apartments. If you are looking for us, we are right there at 49 49 P G M S Road in Kolkata. It’s an older building, the kind that has a lot of character and maybe a few leaky pipes when it rains really hard. Kolkata 33 is a lively area and you can always hear the city life through the walls. Our space isn't huge, so we are often bumping into each other between the desks. We have some posters on the walls and piles of paper that never seem to go away. It’s just a normal workplace with people who’ve been around for a long time. We drink a lot of chai and talk about what needs to get done before the sun goes down. The elevator in the apartment block can be slow, so many of us just take the stairs. It’s a good way to stay awake in the afternoon heat. We aren't a corporate giant with glass walls; we are just people in an apartment doing our thing. The street outside is always full of vendors and cars honking. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out. It’s part of the charm of being on P G M S Road. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do every day.
