R K Nandi

R K Nandi has been around since 1992 from Barrackpore Collage under Calcutta. That was quite a while ago if you think about the years passing by. We started out small and stayed that way mostly. It is just a way of life for us now. Being linked to Barrackpore Collage is something that comes up in conversation quite a bit. It is part of the history of how this whole thing got started. We don't spend much time thinking about the past but it is there. Daily life here is pretty simple. We get up and get to it. There are a lot of memories tied to the name R K Nandi. Some of the people who knew us back in the nineties still stop by occasionally. It is interesting to see how much things have changed while we just kept doing what we do. We don't have a big office or anything. It is just a regular place where we spend our time. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow but we keep the doors open anyway. You learn a lot over thirty years. Mostly you learn that just showing up is the most important part. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just do the work and go home at the end of the day. It is a quiet life and that suits us just fine. We like it this way.
