Our place is situated near Bogdoba More, right in the Machibhanga area. It is basically a family-run setup. Rebeka Begam and her husband Abdul Kader Molla are the ones who started this. We are in North Parganas, and the 700135 pin code covers our spot. It is a bit out of the main city, so it is quieter here, which I like. We deal with pharmaceuticals. This means we spend a lot of time checking boxes and making sure the medicine names are right. It is a serious business because people are counting on these items for their health. We have a small office space that is part of the house. It is nothing fancy, just a few desks, some shelves for files, and a lot of storage for the products. Sometimes we sit out front when the weather is nice. The people in the neighborhood know us well. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything. Most of our work comes from people who have known the family for years. It is a simple way to live and work. We have to be very careful with the temperatures in the storage room so the medicines do not spoil. It is a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. We are just regular folks doing a necessary job in our corner of West Bengal. It is not glamorous, but it keeps us busy.
