Qutbi Engineering Corporation

Qutbi Engineering Corporation is tucked away in Room No 9/M/2 at 36 Strand Road. If you know this part of the city, you know it's full of old buildings and lots of commercial activity. Our office isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. It’s an older building with high ceilings and those big windows that let in a bit of the river breeze when they are open. We deal with various engineering supplies and parts. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking through old ledgers and some newer computer files. It gets a bit hectic when several deliveries arrive at the same time on the ground floor. We’ve been operating from this room for a while, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled over the years. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a corporate headquarters, but it works for us. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. People come to us because they know we understand the technical side of the parts we sell. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a steady rhythm here on Strand Road and we are glad to be a part of it. The stairs can be a bit much on a hot day, but we don't mind the exercise. It is just part of being in an old city building.
