Essar Engineering Services Limited

Our office for Essar Engineering Services Limited is in Kolkata, specifically at 214/216 Jamunalal Bajaj Street. We are in Room No 128 on the ground floor, which makes it easier when we have to move heavy folders or equipment in and out. If you’ve ever walked down Jamunalal Bajaj Street, you know how incredibly crowded and noisy it gets with all the traders and porters. It’s a very old part of the city, and the building reflects that with its thick walls and high ceilings. We spend our days here working through engineering specs and talking to vendors. It’s not a glamorous setup at all. The lighting is a bit dim in some corners, and there’s always the sound of horns and shouting from the street outside. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure the technical details are handled correctly. Most of us have been working in this field for a long time, so we don't need a lot of direction. We just get on with the job. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do; it’s just engineering. Sometimes the humidity in Kolkata makes the paperwork curl at the edges, but we just keep going. It’s a busy, cramped place, but it’s where all the work happens. We don't have time for corporate polished talk, we just want to finish the project and move to the next thing on our list for the week.
