You can find us at 32 Nabin Chand Boral Lane in the Bou Bazar area of Kolkata. It is right in the heart of the city, and if you’ve ever been to Bou Bazar, you know how crowded and lively it gets. Our office at Larsen & Toubro Ltd is tucked away in one of these lanes. It’s a historic part of town, so the building has that old-world feel to it. We don't have many fancy gadgets or high-end interiors. Our space is filled with stacks of papers, old cupboards, and the sound of fans spinning overhead. It’s a hardworking atmosphere. We don't have time for corporate jargon or making things look pretty for a website. We are busy dealing with the day-to-day operations. The lane outside is always full of people and vendors, which keeps things interesting. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking, so most of us just walk from the nearest transport stop. We’ve been here for a good while and have a rhythm that works. We handle a lot of different things from this small base. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s real. We are just a group of people trying to do our best in a busy market district. No missions or visions posted on the wall, just a calendar and maybe a few notes pinned up. That’s how we like it. We focus on getting things finished and going home to our families.
