Our office is located over on Halwasiya Road, right in the heart of Kolkata 7. It is an old area with a lot of character, and we have been at 1 A for quite some time now. The building has been through a lot of seasons, and so have we. Inside, it is mostly just desks, computers, and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. We do not really go for all those modern office decorations you see in magazines. It is a practical space where we can sit down and get our work done without distractions. The street outside can get pretty loud during the day, especially with the rickshaws and vendors, but we have gotten used to the noise. It feels like home to us. We are a small group, and we have all known each other for years. We do not spend much time on fancy meetings; we usually just talk across the room when something needs to be sorted out. Being in Kolkata 7 means we are near some good tea stalls, which helps when we need a break. We handle our daily operations in a straightforward way. There are not many layers of management here. If something needs doing, one of us just picks it up and finishes it. It is a modest way to run a business, but it keeps us grounded. We like the rhythm of this neighborhood and the way the day unfolds here on Halwasiya Road.
