We are located at 28 Chittranjan Avenue, which is a pretty well-known part of Kolkata. Proudland Builders is just a small LLP, not one of those massive firms. Our office is right there in the middle of all the chaos of the city. If you’ve ever been to 700012, you know how busy it gets with the traffic and the people everywhere. We mostly focus on building projects, though a lot of our time is spent just getting the right paperwork filed. It is a lot of back-and-forth with the local authorities. The office itself is nothing special, just some old furniture and a few computers that have seen better days. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. We just wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. Most of our clients are just local folks looking to get something built or fixed up. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and looking at maps of the city. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a week or so. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when materials don’t arrive on time or the weather turns bad. But we just keep at it because that’s what we know how to do. It’s a basic operation, run by people who live right here in the city. We don't mind the hard work.
