Our spot is on the first floor of 31 Ganesh Chandra Avenue. If you know Kolkata at all, you know this area is always moving and always loud. It’s right in the middle of everything, which is helpful when you need to get things moving. Prospect Nirman is what we call our little operation here. We deal with building and development work, mostly local stuff that keeps us on our toes. The office isn't much to look at, just a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. We like being on the first floor because it’s easy to duck in and out when we have to go see a site or meet a supplier. There is usually a lot of traffic on the avenue, so we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and people shouting outside. It’s just part of the atmosphere. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Most people who work with us just know where we are and come by when they need something. We handle the paperwork, the planning, and all the little details that go into a construction project. It’s not always easy, and things go wrong sometimes, but we just fix it and keep going. That’s just how it is in this line of work. We’ve been in this building for a bit now and it feels like home, despite the noise and the constant bustle of the street outside.
