Prochestha Agro Farm Private Limited

We operate out of P59 Jyotish Roy Road over in the New Alipore area. You can find us care of Nityanand Shaw's place. Kolkata 700053 is a decent part of town, maybe a bit quieter than the very center but still plenty busy. Prochestha Agro Farm is basically just a group of us who wanted to get into the farming business from the city side. We don’t have a huge flashy sign or anything like that. It’s more of a practical setup where we can sit down and get our work done. Most of our time goes into managing the farm details and making sure everything is lined up for the next season. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to people on the ground. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job and make sure the farm stuff we handle is done right. Some of us have been in this industry for a long time, while others are still learning the ropes. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the markets and the weather. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to catch up on. It’s just a regular small business atmosphere here. We like the neighborhood and the people around us. It feels like home even when the work gets a bit stressful. We just keep our heads down and keep moving forward with whatever the day brings.
