Print 'N' Art

We’ve been at 189 Park Street for quite some time now. It is a busy spot, especially with Mahadevi Bidla School being so close by. You can always hear the school bells and the kids outside when the day ends. At Print 'N' Art, things are usually a bit hectic. There is always the sound of printers going in the background and that specific smell of fresh ink and paper that sticks to your clothes. It’s not a large place, just a workspace where we get things done. Most of the time, the counters are covered in proofs and different types of cardstock. We don’t really go for anything fancy here. The furniture is a bit old and the floor has some ink stains, but it’s a place where work happens. A few of us handle the machines and talk to people who walk in. Some days the traffic on Park Street makes it hard to even get to the door, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just like doing our work and seeing the finished product come out right. Sometimes we sit out front for a quick tea break when things quiet down for a minute. It’s a local kind of life. People drop in, we chat a bit, and we get back to the printing. That’s just how it goes here in this corner of the city.
