Sandip Enterprises is tucked away on Sukia Street, right at No-2/1, B-Ashutosh Sil Lane. If you’ve ever walked through this part of the city, you know how narrow these lanes are. It’s an old building, the kind where you can hear everything happening outside. We’ve been operating from here for a long time. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stuff stacked up, but we know where everything is. Most days start with a lot of tea and checking what needs to be delivered. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who have known each other for years. It feels more like a small family than a business sometimes. We argue about where to put the new boxes or who left the lights on, but it all gets sorted out by lunch. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people shouting, which is just part of the charm of being in this area. We don't have a website that works properly, and we don't really bother with social media much. People just know we are here. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back. It’s a simple way of living and working. We just want to do our job and go home at the end of the day.
