Our workplace is situated at 8 4 Rakhal Mukherjee Road in Sarsuna. It is a bit tucked away compared to the big commercial hubs, but that suits us just fine. Pricewaterhousecoopers operates out of this building, and it has a very local, neighborhood feel to it. The walk from the main road isn't too long, and you pass a lot of small shops and houses along the way. Inside the office, it is pretty basic. We have our workstations, a few chairs for guests, and a printer that usually needs more ink. We don’t have a marketing team or a bunch of corporate slogans on the walls. It is just a place where we come to do our jobs every day. The atmosphere is fairly relaxed, although we do get busy when the end of the month rolls around. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay cool when the Kolkata humidity gets high. Most of us have lived in this part of the city for years, so we know the area well. We aren't trying to be the flashiest business in town. We just want to provide a solid place for our staff to work and for our clients to visit. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment where the work is the main focus. If you find yourself on Rakhal Mukherjee Road, you’ll see our sign and a bunch of us working away inside.
